The Atlanta Fire House Development Program

Beginning with the "Learn to Skate" and "Learn to Play" programs, The Cooler graduates Learn To Play Hockey level 4 players into The Atlanta Fire House Development Program. We offer two House League seasons. The Fall season typically runs from August to February, with the teams (Squirt and above)playing games against four other metro area programs. The Spring season typically runs from March through June, with the teams playing other teams within our rink.

The program continues to develop the advanced player through the nationally recognized Atlanta Fire Travel Hockey Program. The Atlanta Fire concluded the 2010-2017-2018-2019 seasons by winning  the USA Hockey National Championship Tournaments. Fire alumni have continued on to successful careers at the prep, junior, NCAA, and professional levels.

The Spring House Development Program

Mite, Squirt, and Peewee divisions will have weekly Skills sessions on designated nights. There will be professional training, and development for these age categories to enhance the player’s individual development. Power skating, edge control, sticking handling, fakes/ dekes, passing, shooting, and small area games will all be covered. Each skill session will have a specific theme to peak the player’s interest in the game.
