The next Learn to Skate session” A" will take place March 3 through May 3, 2008. This is an 8 week session. The cost is $125 with out skate rental and $140 with skate rental. Classes will not be held Spring Break week April 7-April 12, 2008.
The Learn to Skate program runs year round. The 8 week session consists of one half hour lesson each week at your designated time. Class time is determined by skating level and may change after each 8 week series.
The Cooler Skating Academy classes are taught by trained professionals. All of our coaches are members of the Professional Skaters Association which provides continuous education and accreditation to ice skating professionals. We offer a complete skating program through the United States Figure Skating Association called the Basic Skills Program.
The Basic Skills Program is a beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding. This program will enable beginning skaters of all ages and abilities to learn the fundamentals of the sport and begin a lifetime commitment to health and wellness. When a skater in our program passes Basic 3, Basic 6, and Freestyle 2 they receive medals for their accomplishments.
February 11 registration will be open. Registration may be done at the Cooler, or by phone with credit card payment.
There are NO REFUNDS or CREDITS for the Learn to Skate Classes! Be sure your child is ready to enter into the Basic Skills (LTS) Program before registering!

Class Days and times:
Mondays 4:15-5:15pm
Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm
Saturdays 11:30-12:40pm
* Each half hour time slot is determined by specific class level.
BE ADVISED : 1 MAKE-UP DURING 8 WEEKS. See Karen Melzer the Figure Skating Director for your make-up slip. This will then be handed to the make-up lesson instructor.
Please be certain that your child is ready and willing to participate in our Basic Skills Program before enrolling. We highly suggest skating on public sessions prior to enrollment. Skaters MUST be 4 years old to participate THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR LEARN TO SKATE!
